IPL Points Table 2024

The IPL points table is updated regularly during the tournament and shows the current standing of each team, based on the number of wins, losses, ties, and points they have earned. The points table is used to determine the final standings of the teams at the end of the tournament, with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs.

The IPL follows a round-robin format, with each team playing a total of 14 matches during the league stage. Teams earn two points for each win and one point for each tie or no result. In the event of a tied match, the team with the higher net run rate (NRR) is placed higher on the points table. The playoffs consist of two qualifier matches and two elimination matches, with the winners of each match advancing to the next stage. The final match determines the champion of the IPL.
